One Direction sport festive jumpers to perform classic Christmas song

One Direction and Jimmy Kimmel teamed up to sing one of our favourite Christmas songs on Monday whilst wearing festive jumpers. The British five-piece performed live alongside Jimmy and his studio band, The Roots, and each member played a classroom instrument.

They were also part of Bob Geldof's Band Aid 30, which is raising money towards fighting Ebola in West Africa, while the original song released in 1984 aimed to support anti-poverty efforts in Ethiopia. 

As part of the charity single's promotion, the band had their faces projected on the side of the Houses of Parliament earlier in December.
